The children at the Lab School had a visit from some special guests today. Firefighters Dam and Leo from Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Fire Company shared an informative demonstration about fire safety. The program was coordinated by the UD Health & Safety crew. The children were encouraged to touch tools, compare their height to the wheels of the fire truck, and also get up close to a firefighter in full uniform.

Later, on the playground, the children were able to take on the role of a firefighter as they rode their fire engines (aka bikes) around to find the fires.
